I recently saw a video on YouTube about a fat guy in Nara who records himself running around and screaming at tourists claiming that they are abusing the deer. Now I have to think about this every time I read about the city.

I mean I would say the deer live freely in the US too, until they walk on the street.
I saw deer just walking in people’s backyards, on my college campus before even, and other places. (went to school in Wisconsin, and then saw lots of deer when I lived in the DC area)
